"Come gentlemen let us celebrate. For the sun is rising over the city of Athens, let its warmth overtake us, it's power becomes us. For the day is as bright and promising as the gentlemen that stand before us. To love, to madness, to the soul, gentlemen, may the gods give us strength and grace us with their company."

Um... John of the Cross was cool, but how about Francis de Sales? Or maybe we can have two patron saints of writ and verse.
